Sid Vicious

Celebrities that don't want to belong in pop culture but do , awesome! Honestly, I do not know how I feel about Sid Vicious. I have watched a fair few documentries about his life and 'murder accusations' and eventual death and yeah they all seem a bit biast. But I guess he was an awesome dude I mean he was in the sex pistols (but he could never be as cool as Johnny Rotton).

Soooooooooooooooooooooo yeaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Here is a few quotes by Sid Vicious(pretty irrelevent but , whatever)
1.I'm not chic, I could never be chic.
2.I'm not vicious really. I consider myself to be kindhearted. I love my mum.
3.The band broke up because I couldn't bear Rotten anymore because he was an embarrassment with his silly hats and his, like, shabby, dirty, nasty looking appearance.
4.We are better than anyone, ain't we? Except for the Eagles, the Eagles are better than us.
5.You just pick up a chord, go twang, and you're got music.

One of the more attractive photos of young Sid

The 'perfect women': A journey throughout history

Well, this is what consumes my Saturday night! I have decided to take a look at 3 different decades, 1950's , 1990's and 2000's and compare what was considered to be the 'perfect' body for women at that period of time. I know this all sounds riveting!

1950's (I have decided to use this pink font because it reminds me of this particular decade)
In my personal opinion in the 1950's it was attractive to have a 'curvy' feminine body (think hour-glass). We have all probably heard the rumour that 1950s glamour star , Marilyn Monroe was a size US 16. Even the undergarments of this decade were designed to enhance feminine features!

The 1990's
Well in my opinion the late 1990's and earl
y 2000s encouraged women to have 'big boobs' and an athletic looking stomach. I remember that I used to have a barbie doll and it's stomach had abs on it! Have you ever noticed how almost all pop singers used to dance around in mini crop tops showing off their stomachs with their boobs bouncing all over the place? It was all about being fit and healthy!

Nowdays
Well it seems that nowdays it is attractive to look almost malnutritioned! Models are looking skinnier and skinnier! I don't really know what else to write about this topic , especially since it is overly debated and discussed. So I decided to include a few images in
stead! Note: If you type in 'skinny' into tumblr a whole heap of stomachs will pop up! Ho hum!

Titanic , a personal obsession

At he age of 8 I had some sort of misconceived idea that when I grew up I would become Leonardio Decaprio's wife! I know , completely crazy. You're probably wondering where this un-natural obsession arose! Well let's just say I spent wayyy too much time watching Titanic. I am not proud to admit that even when I watch Titanic now I can still quote various lines from several different characters and scenes! But the fact that it had a very large impact on the rest of the world, and indeed 90's pop culture makes me feel a little better about myself.

Here are some screenshots taken from the movie ("stolen" off tumblr). Note: This movie is nothing without it's cringe-worthy lines!
